Carrier oils
are also called base oils. Because pure essential oils are so potent and strong, they often need to be diluted with a neutral oil that can 'carry' their potency.

Pure Essential Oils are highly concentrated, aromatic liquids derived from plants, stems, seeds, leaves, flowers, roots, fruits, grasses, and trees. They are most frequently produced by a steam
distillation
process, creating pure, chemical free plant essences.
A little drop of essential oil goes a long way! And often these pure oils are too strong to be used directly on the skin. Which is why carrier oils are so important in making body care products.

Floral Waters, also known as Hydrosols, are the very aromatic waters that remain after a plant has been through the distillation process and had the essential oils extracted.
Floral waters are very gentle and can be used directly on the skin. Rose Water is often used in cooking recipes! In aromatherapy products you can replace plain water with Floral Waters to enhance the scent and healing properties of the product you're making.

Flower Essences
Flower Essences are an infusion of flowers and water, stabilized with a brandy and water solution. They contain no scent or perfume, other than the slight scent of the brandy.
Flower essences are made to promote emotional, mental, and spiritual awareness and healing. This in return often aids with physical healing.
Flower essences carry the vibrational energy of the flower it has been infused with. These are diluted infusions, but you may be surprised by the potency at which they work.
