What You Need to Know Before Using Essential Oils

Always dilute essential oils properly, never place undiluted oils directly on skin.

Essential oils listed in the A to Z directory not to be used during pregnancy are marked with an asterisks: * Many essential oils promote regular menstruation and labor, so therefore are best avoided during pregnancy.

If any irritation or symptoms occur discontinue use and consult with your health care provider or physician.

It is best to rotate or vary what types of essential oils you are using approximately every two to three weeks, as long term, over use of any essential oil could cause irritations or side effects.
